pencil portrait

This started of as a portrait of the actor Chris Hemsworth, but I didn't measure the features and just guessed, so it wasn't a good likeness of him, his nose is too long, mouth too wide etc. etc. I left it for ages then decided to use it as an exercise to develop tonal values and blending and not worry about the likeness. As that I'm quite pleased with it.
Approx A4. Generic smooth sketch book paper. Pencils HB - 8B paper blending stick thing idk. Time - done over quite a period of time - it has to be at least 10 hours altogether ( I'll time the next one I start )
